So I just transferred my Amber ale into the secondary fermenter today (7 days after primary car boy). I took a reading and it was at 1.011 gravity today... is that good enough, it's been one week since Fermentation started? I think this beers ending Alcohol % should be 4-5, does this sound correct?

Thanks!

What was your starting gravity? What did the recipe say for your starting gravity and final gravity? It never hurts to leave it in an extra week just to make sure the yeast is finished....have you had any recent airlock activity?
