Gravity from a carbonated beer?

This may sound like a dumb question but can you get an accurate gravity reading from a beer that is already KEGGED and carbed?!
 
Sure. De-carb it by shaking/stirring it well first and let it get up to room temperature. Spin the hydrometer a bit to knock any extra co2 bubbles that could be holding it up.
 
I guess that was kind of a DUH! Just didn't come to me. I was over thinking it.
