grapes to grow in southeas VA??

my dad has some land here in Va beach, VA and want to grow grapes for me to make him some wine. what type of grapes will :
. #1 grow in this area and survive
. #2 be usable for simple wine making
. #3 how and where do i by them from??

thanks for any advice! i have never made wine before but if he's growing grapes from seed, i have a few years to research it!!

My grandma used to have a Concord vine in her back yard that produced some good black thick-skin table grapes. It grew fine in Halifax Co.
