I have some staining / dullness on the base of my G30 that doesn't come off, I've checked lots of places but can't find the information i need, pictures are often missing.

I've had the unit over a year now, and I'm wondering does it need to be repasivated? Or is this another issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like "beer stone". It's from the minerals in the water you use and the grain. Might be unsightly but doesn't hurt anything.

Ive been told, a good long soak with some hot PBW will help take it out.

a little white vinegar soak might clean that up
