Hello HBT dwellers, this is my first post on any sort of home brewing forum so I want to say thanks to everyone here responding and posting because all these tips, recipes, and ideas are awesome!! ANYWAY, I am a relatively recent all-grain brewer and am looking for a critique on some modifications I did to the grain bill and hop schedule of a Kern River Citra DIPA clone recipe I found. In the past, I have always bought all-grain kits, so this time I decided to try and buy my own grains, hops, yeast, etc. and need some advice. Basically, with these modifications am hoping to get a slightly more golden, orangey color out of the beer and maintain the tropical citrus flavor/ aroma while varying the hop selection up a bit(even though it is a Citra DIPA). Here is the Grainbill:

2-row 12lbs
Cara-Pils/Dextrine 9.2oz
Caramel/Crystal Malt(10L) 12oz
Munich Malt 10oz
White Wheat Malt 4.4 oz
Honey Malt 4.4oz
((I should also add I have some sugars leftover from my extract days that are suppose to raise the alcohol% by 1%))
I did the OG calculation without the sugars with an efficiency of 72% and a 5.5 gallon batch and estimate an OG of 1.070.

Hop Schedule:
Boil
1.5 oz Warrior - 60 min
.5 oz Citra - 20 min
.5 oz Mosaic - 15 min
.5 oz Citra - 10 min
.5 oz Mosaic - 5 min
.75 oz Citra - Flameout
Dry Hop
1.25 oz Citra - 12 days
.5 oz Amarillo Gold - 12 days
1 oz Mosaic - 9 days
1 oz Amarillo Gold - 6 days
1 oz Citra - 3 days

Any suggestions or criticisms anyone has that will help me achieve what I am looking for please comment as I have never really done this before... Thank you all for reading!!
