While searching for graf recipe's I found a few tasting looking ones, but none that really matched what I was thinking. Therefore, I created my own and put it out there for anyone else searching for ideas. It's going to be a few months before I get around to making it though.
4 pounds maris otter
1 pound brown malt
8 ounces rauchmalt or maybe a full pound undecided.
4 ounces special B
4 ounces carafa III
Mash at 152, batch sparge to collect enough wort for 3 gallons post boil.
.5 ounce palisade at 60 and 30 min
1 ounce brambling cross at 10 min
Add two gallons cider/apple juice once cool and ferment with something English.
I'm also thinking of adding 1oz crystallized ginger and possibly a couple of cinnamon sticks to the end of the boil.
