got air bubbles in auto syphon

I got a lot of air bubbles in teh syphon transfering to my bottling bucket in a amber holiday ale.

Use a 5/16" hose. instead of 3/8".

First, pump it one more time.

Second, pull the inner tube out 1"...it could be in too far.

Both of these options have helped me in the past.

When I had the same problem, it was because of the size tubing like Arcane said.

I had a similar problem and Revvy recommended a small hose clamp which is available at most LHBS's. Mine didn't have the particular clamp; however I was able to solve the problem by pushing my hose as far as I could onto the racking cane, almost all the way up to the bend. Just don't go up into the bend, as it can force the hose open a bit and allow air in.
