as the title says made up a blowoff tube and switched airlock out for it just in time whooa! Heart was racing just like the hot break on the boil on this one. Photos included

Nice save. I've found it's always easier and safer to just start with the blowoff tube every time.

I just hadn't made one up yet, now its made so i will use. Just need to make up a couple more:mug:

it wasnt boiling over just volume was so damn high in kettle as my mash was way more efficient and I had to add water. There was over 7 gallons on that pot. Trust me I was on it like a fat kid on cake!
