So I am brewing Charlie's Good Night in Mexico recipe, which is a Negra Modelo clone. OG was 1.038 which is a little low and after fermenting with VERY little bubbling for a week, the FG has been pretty consistent at 1.020 for three days. What would YOU do? I was going to rack it and lager it for a month, but should I stir it or pitch more yeast?

Doesn't taste too great either. Aah, time heals all wounds I guess.

I would pitch more yeast - my guess is that this was under-pitched or that the yeast was stressed in some way. First, I'd try a couple packets of your favorite dry yeast first. If that doesn't help, the second step would be to get a vigorous starter going, and pitch that. As for taste, if it tastes sweet or unfinished, that's OK. If it tastes infected (sour or phenolic) it may not be salvagable.

Good Luck
