So, I have to make a porter for a mid-July party (long story) and was curious for any good extract recipes? I don't have time to do a full AG in the near term, but can probably squeeze in an extract if the recipe is right.

Thanks!

What sort of porter? English or American? Strong or weak?

Fair questions. English, and sessionable. Since it is for a party, I want people to be able to have more than one. Thanks.

Try this one. I make the AG version a coulple of times a year.

Steep grains as desired (30-60 minutes)

I brewed this a couple of weeks ago from my own recipe. I haven't tried it yet as it is still sitting in primary but it should work well enough.

~7lbs Pale Malt LME
3/4 lb chocolate
1/2 lb crystal 110
2.5 oz roasted barley
1 oz Willamette (60 minutes)
3/4 oz Willamette (5 minutest)
s-o4 yeast
OG 1.058

So now that I look at your request for something that is sessionable, this may not be it! Maybe for another time or just cut down the amount of LME.
