For those that have more of a clean in place system, I saw a suggestion here to use a wet vac to get the leftover grains after scooping or dumping most of the grains out. Sounded like a good idea.
At COSTCO, I came across a STANLEY 4 GAL STAINLESS STEEL WET/DRY VAC # 554490 for $32.99.
Decent quality and I think its a good deal and I can't get enough stainless !
I tried it out on a couple of gallons of water and dry stuff and it worked great. Should work well for leftover grains, cleaning out spent hops and break from the BK and for cleaning up spills that I always seem to have.
