Not as often as I'd like, then!
It's a charming town on Lake Michigan, with beautiful peninsulas that have wineries all along shooting out from it. It really is nice, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes are nearby. I like hiking in that area.
I sound like a travel agent, trying to sell a trip there. But it's great, especially in September when the kids are back in school and most of the other tourists are gone. In mid-September, the grapes are being picked and they are pressing, so that's fun to see too. The tastings at the wineries are fun, and there is excellent wine coming out of Mission Peninsula.
Sadly, we rarely get down that way. It's about a 6 hour drive, so not that far, but we have so many other places to go in Wisconsin before doing a repeat I think.
