glycol.for tower in.keezer

Has anyone built a glycol setup for a home keezer? Worth the effort or just insulate the tower?

I used a outdoor pond pump some copper and rubber tubing. I originally ran it in all rubber but it did not transfer the cold well. Hint if you are trying to bend the copper pack it with sand to avoid kinks.
