A few questions on glucose syrup, as it is hard to find info.

What are the benefits of glucose syrup in beer?

And in comparison to other malt competitors and over using just all malt

I just want a better understand of this ingredient
 
Glucose is a very short chain sugar that will easily be fermented away by the yeast. If you are looking for a dryer beer this is good. If you want mouthfeel it's a bad thing. Simple table sugar (sucrose) will accomplish the same result.
