So on a lark I sent two bottle on my cider off to the Great Lakes international Cider and Perry competition.
They just posted the results...and I won bronze!

The New World Cider category had 56 entries with 38 medals so I don't know just how big of a deal that is but I am pretty stoked about it, especially considering it was my first ever batch! I assume I will get the grading sheets eventually but for those familiar with GLINTCAP is this something I should be excited about? Or is the bronze more of a 'thanks for playing' award?
