Have been brewing beer, some wine, ciders and meads for years now. Stumbled on Kombucha 6 months ago and got hooked on it. So, I Am growing a scoby right now for my first batch. I have read and read and read and there are a bunch of conflicting answers as usual everywhere. Can I dissolve sugar in 1quart of warm glacier//distilled/RO water and then cool it down with top up glacier or distilled? Just wondering. Can't wait to make my first batch
