Ginger bug

Hi. Just started making my first ginger bug. I can already hear a hissing sound the next day and a few bubbles around it. But on day 3 it just stopped. Is there a chance that I might need to start all over again? Thankss

Probably not. Kind of depends on the batch size and how much sugar you used.

Day 4 and this is how it looks now. Still no bubbles and I think it kinda turned pink.
