here is a maple ginger porter recipe i made... its a very strong brew, and quite tasty (though i've only had a few as i want to age them longer)... this is just my record of what i did, go ahead and change whatever you see fit.
Maple Ginger Porter
5 gallon recipe.
Grains:
.5 lb. Roasted malt
.75 lb. Crystal 50L malt
.25 lb. Black malt
.5 lb. Chocolate malt
Extract:
2 x 3.3 lb. liquid light malt extract
1 x 3 lb. dry light malt extract
Hops:
1 oz. Northern Brewer whole hops, (60 min)
1 oz. Northern Brewer whole hops, (15 min)
Yeast:
White Labs high gravity English Ale yeast, 2nd generation.
Etc:
16 oz. Grade A maple syrup in boil for 10 mins.
4 oz. fresh grated ginger in boil for 10 mins.
.75 cups Corn Sugar for bottling
