I am new to the brew but have had VERY GOOD luck with my first two brews (amber and califoria common) and I am looking for something new to try. I have had many beers and always like to try the locals to the places Ive been so any suggestions from your areas would be great

Im a fan of many but seeing that spring has srung (or almost for us way up here) maybe something seasonal? stout will be on list later in the year inkman but thanks!

I have a Pale Ale and an Amber carbing now and another Pale and a Blackberry Wheat on deck. Good call staying away from the dark/heavy beers. To me, they aren't as refreshing in the warm weather as the others. That's the tricky part, you have to be a good 2 months ahead of your current season. Brewing a heavy Sout or a Porter in August doesn't 'feel' right at the time, but come October you are glad you did.

I am planning on doing a Belgian Witbier (extract kit from Northern Brewer) for the summer, and use a bunch of blood oranges in the secondary.

While it's still cool out, a kolsch would be a good beer to make. Ferments at lower temps and would be great when it's ready at the beginning of summer/end of spring.
