this is what she asked for, a pink and green sled/tobaggan. ok, that's a cool old school gift, and i'm stoked to have to custom build this one.

parts list.

one canuk built tobaggan.

one can of green paint, one can of pink paint. both exterior, semi-gloss latex. i had to explain twice that, no i'm not painting my house or anything else outside in the middle of ****ing december. mix the paint.

final product, after twenty-seven beers and four days...

Niiiiiiiiice... Everything I do ends up being freaking pink too (4 girls). Although I did build a monster playhouse that SWMBO hasn't wanted painted pink yet... YET.

As a Canuck Master Sled Builder, I would suggest that you sand the base of the sled with very fine sand paper. Once completely smooth apply a ski wax rated at your locations average temperature.

You will need to reapply wax every couple of uses.

That's awesome. She'll love it now, but in 30 years, when she's looking through all of those christmas pictures loaded with store bought presents, the one with her holding up that sled will be the one she loves the most.

Too true! That sled is something that she will remember her whole life.

Having said that with all sincerity, the one thing that comes to mind is .... ROSEBUD!
