Hey,

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes. But I wanted to check here first. My GF controller just crapped out, and it'll be a couple of days/weeks till I get a replacement. If I just want to replace the controller to get functionality back will any version of the sTC-1000 do? I don't need step mashing and advanced programing, just need it to cycle temps like a normal controller would do.

Thanks

I think the Grainfather is like 16-1700 watts, and the stc 1000 is rated slightly lower, sorry not sure.

If you can get the grain father to heat, it would be very simple to run a batch manually. Just heat to 160-162, dough in and cover the unit with a winter coat.
Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear, just sounds easier than rigging supplemental control.

Instead of recirculating, just stir well a few times lol
