My wife is on a no-alcohol kick right now. But to get her to drink beer, I just say "here, try this." She'll smell the beer, and if she smells too many delicious hops, she won't drink it.

I've found she likes porters, stouts, and dry ciders. She ignores an IPA I'm going nuts over, but will fight me for the last bottle of something barrel aged. It's just finding a matter of something she likes.

Oh, man, I guess I'm lucky. My wife loves all the beers I do from Heady to my homebrew. I was annoyed she drank the last Enjoy By last weekend when I was out. Right now she's drinking Stone RuniTen and hasn't even offered me any yet.

No jury would convict you over the repercussion from that last "Enjoy By"...

Cheers! ;)

ps: yeah, the 2014 July 4th batch was epic. My youngest son gave me two bombers and they just...slid...down. Sorry ;)
