Take care there, it sounds dangerous. (That's partly why I prefer barrels with pressure-relief valves.)

On the danger scale that's pretty high up there. Making your own drinkable hand grenades and all. Next you need to drop a glass carboy filled with wort, I'm in that club. If you want to be General of the danger homebrew army you can drop a flare in a used whiskey barrel....
