Today on Google News, this pops up about the origin of lager yeast.
Interesting. Side note: so many sites are trying to be the first to publish anything they computer cobble 'news stories' together to make them unreadable; see for instance this, which includes the mangled "Wort, of course, incorporates uses the sugars fermented by the yeast ferments to supply the alcohol content and which in turn helps to keep the yeast cells alive."

Anyway, the genomic archeology was interesting. And Genomic Archeology would be a great name for a rock band.
