I got a couple of hobby accounts brewing on BA that can rate the SS beers some time down the road. I also have a friend who does design work that can make us labels, I'm sure hell agree to do it.

I was just messaged by someone on BA saying he will be vacationing near Lesterville and wants to know if Saddle & Sickle is worth a visit for growler fills. He saw that I was the only one to rate them. I certainly cant send him there looking for the place, so I will have to direct him not to without saying that the beer isnt worth it.

Just say growler fills aren't always available and it's usually closed if fills aren't available since they don't get enough traffic and he has **** to do on the farm or something.

If Jim is growing a lot of his barley/hops, perhaps he has run out of some ingredients? Or perhaps put an update on the website that he had some infection issues so no beer right now? If there is an update on the website you could tell the person to just check the website to see what is available?

I told him its rarely open to the public at this point because he is full time farming and part time brewing. He only opens on weekends and only when he has enough beer available to sell. He still wants to go there because he will be in town, so I cant really persuade him from doing that. He is asking about location, but I've ignored those questions and only answered ones about beers

You could try to stall on the location saying your relatives (or friends) took you by there and you'll check with them on how to get there? Or is your profile local to the brewery?

I'd rather not post something on the website. Too coincidental.

My profile is from Sioux City, Iowa. An hour from Yankton. He stopped asking me questions about the location, though he says he will have a few free days in town and plans to head there anyway to see if they are open and have beer available.

Damn it, now you got Ozzy in my head.

On a serious note, can we portray this similar to Shaun Hill and say he's an ******* and the farm is on private property? Doesn't appreciate visitors if the brewery isn't open. And post something on the site in like a week or 2 mentioning a bad hop harvest or something

Did he hit you up for info?
He didn't message me so I did'nt contact him. I figure it wasn't worth the risk this early in the game. Plus if one hobby account ticking the brewery is enough for someone wanting to seek it out, we'll have more people to deal with after we get more ratings for SS.

Suppose an unsuspecting visitor accidentally walks in on Mr. and Mrs. Crowley doing what they do best (purely hypothetical). Is it missionary and would there be growler fills?
