Gelatin

I'm planning on using gelatin to clarify my Pumpkinweisen. Have any of you ever used it before and, if so, what were your results?

I have used it... ONCE.

I honestly can't tell a difference in clarity between that beer and one that I did not use gelatin on. It was just one more step/ingredient.

I also had to use VERY hot water when cleaning my carboy out because the gelatin left a slight film clinging to the sides of the fermenter.

I don't think I'll be using gelatin again.
