I’ve never used anything but whirlflocc which has worked ok but I do not get clear beers. I have gotten beer nearly clear after sitting in the keg for 30+ days.

I am interested in trying gelatin for my batch of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale that is halfway through fermentation.

I like the idea of adding gelatin in the fermenter opposed to the keg, so I can leave the gelatin behind in the fermenter and transfer just beer to the leg.

I am considering picking up a box of Knox unflavored gelatin to give it a try. Can anyone provide any recommendations for simplifying adding gelatin to a fermenter that provides good results?
