Gelatin and traveling w a keg

I sampled the beer I was planning on taking to the family reunion and it was cloudy since I attempted to condition some in the keg. Can I add gelatin and then travel with the keg. Or will that just let the sediment mix in again. Should I wait until I get there and add gelatin and put it on ice to settle? I have about a week until we leave.

If you have the time, I would put the gelatin in this keg and allow to settle for a couple days. Then rack into another keg to take to the reunion.

If you don't have the time or keg space, just add the gelatin before you go to give it the most time to work. When you get there, you should still try to set up the keg in the serving location as soon as possible. Keeping it cold (e.g., ice bucket, kegerator, etc.) will also help settle out any debris.

I'm actually thinking this might be starch haze. I wasn't careful about watching or predicting the final gravity, but it was a botched cream ale attempt. I might opt for a tablespoon of amalyse. and maybe some more dry hop and lactose to mask the high ibu. (starting gravity was half of expected with same amount of bittering hops)
