Ok, since I’m not doing anything else with my time, I’ve got extra cash to throw at brewing. I already got one 14 gallon conical fermenter, so should my next purchase be a brite tank from SS Brewtech? Or another 14 gallon conical?

thoughts?!

Why would you want a brite? This is a serious question.

I would get a SS or spike Unitank of a bright personally. The only reason I can see to have a brite is if you are serving from it.

The Unitank is as expensive as a conical and brite combined, a brite tank is cheaper and it allows me to turn over the conicals a little faster. A Unitank would be ideal but is a little to spendy.

being able to carbonate in a tank and then transfer beer to kegs already carb’d would be lovely.

Started with a Brew Bucket, decided I needed a Chronical, 'had' to do pressurized ferments so got a Unitank, couldn't keep two fermenters temperature controlled without a glycol chiller so I added one of those.

I don't have a drinking problem. I've got an equipment buying problem.

A brite tank can be a useful addition, but a Unitank does everything a brite does plus everything a conical does (you could dispense from a Unitank, but why would you?). I've been keeping both fermenters going pretty much full-time for the last 5 weeks and have run out of keg space. First World Problem in a pandemic.
