Hey guys,

I need some help! For those of you who have used Galaxy Hops---what other hops mix well with it? Just fell into 4oz of Galaxy hops and wanted to make an IPA.

Frankly, Galaxy all by itself makes a wonderful brew.
I would do a simple bill with a little caramel of your choice, or maybe some honey malt, a bit of carapils & 2oz of galaxy split. some in the boil ( 60, 15 & 0) & some dry hop.
It's a nicely diverse hops

12/17/2012 this beer is dynamite, very bright, stone fruit, citrusy, bitter bite and delicous tropical style IPA
loving the flavors of this beer, had schlafly tasmanian ipa which is also a single hop galaxy beer, also very good.
if anything just a hair too bitter, perhaps enhanced because it dries out nicely

I made an ipa with galaxy and cascade. Used Columbus for bittering and cascade and galaxy late. Turned out very nice. Use galaxy late for sure.

I used Galaxy inly once, with Amarillo and Citra. One of the best beers Ive ever had.

So many choices...thanks. I figured that since it was such a difficult hop to find that I should use it appropriately. I like the idea of maybe matching another fruity hop to it, like Amarillo. The recipe posted is strangely similar to my thinking as well- for an all Galaxy Ale. Might have to just flip a coin...

You could always do the posted recipe and match each Galaxy addition with Amarillo; best of both worlds :)
