I just aquired about 12 kegs in a trade. 8 of them are 15.5G, 1 is 7.75 and 3 are 40L.

The 15G have rubber on the top and bottom of them.

I plan on making a set of keggles, the rest are available for trade or sale.

I'm looking for any other brewing equipment, as i'm a newbie at all grain and don't have much. Ingredients, other vessels, carboys, burners, what ever have you. I'm not looking to make a killing on these, just wanna get my own setup going.

Having never taken them off before, I can't anwser that. They seem to be held on by glue. If there's a will, there's a way. I'll be making keggles out of them.

BWHITE: Like I said, make me an offer.

They come off fairly easy. The bottom is rounded though, I had to bang it it.

So I am guessing that they will not 'sit', without being anchored in some way? Anyway I could get a pic with the bottom off. Sorry to be a PITA but I have a rigged up brew stand and need to know if I can adapt the keg. Thanks!

If you look at the pictures in my profile you'll see what one looks like with the top removed. The bottom is about the same roundness.

Hi,

My brother and I will be brewing in Southern Maryland but we are from Bucks County in PA. Still up there quite often.

We are looking for 2-3 of the 15gal sanke kegs for our eventual AG setup. We'll be traveling until the end of May, but if we find an acceptable price, we could pick the kegs up the first week of June.

I sent a PM with similar information and an offer. Please PM me for my email if you didn't get it.
