My first attempt at cold crashing last night. I woke up this morning to find chunks of ice floating in the fermenter. This is my first time attempting to cold crash anything (I will be attempting to lager a brew in a few days). I had the temperature set to 26 (I realize now a little too low). What if anything can I do to salvage this brew? Will it carbonate in the bottles?

your brew will be fine. frozen beer is still plenty viable. just bring it up to not freezing, and continue with your cold crash. then carbonate the preferred method you were using. you only lose 10% viability when you freeze yeast. youve got plenty left. its good man.
