From lurker to member

Hello fellow fermenters,
I have been brewing on and off for about 10 years. My wife bought my first kit from a local homebrew store. I started with extract and was amazed at the difference freshness makes. After buying a few books, I moved to an all grain system. I mainly did small batches in my kitchen and bottled.

This last summer, I upgraded to a 10 gal boil kettle used outside, a Ss Brewtech 7 gal chronical, and built a keezer (all based on my lurking on HBT).

Thanks for as sharing all your experience. This is truly a community and luckily one where sharing beer and experience is the whole point.

Welcome to the shared obsession! I came to this forum in 2006, and never left. I had just a few carboys and buckets back then- and suddenly I had an all electric indoor HERMS rig. I've gone through three kegerator builds. I figure the people of this forum are responsible for me spending about $5000, and plan to hang around until I get that back!
