My friend decided the other day while I was on vacation to take some of my beers out of the fridge and the area where I store my bottles for conditioning (as well as my stock of other beers).

He had never had homebrew before, and well...I'm not entirely sure he'll try one again. First off he's a BMC kind of guy and he tried a green doppelbock, and second- he drank it from the bottle...all of it. Because he drank a good six back in that manner, the sediment decided to say hello to him numerous times while he was on a date. :D

So although I got a few good laughs at karma coming back to get him after he stole my beer while I was away, I was also bummed that I will have the impression of making crappy beer, forever committing my friend to a life of drinking BMC.

Well, I bet he and his date learned a lesson :)

Now, you can show him what a properly aged brew tastes like and compare it to the green ones he had. That way he won't be so scared of homebrew, just green beer.

Forget your thieving friend! Save the dobblebock for yourself and let him drink BMC!

Schlante,
Phillip

If you're lucky, he will never be back.

(Had a roommate complain about my bean soup once. Except the beans were still soaking (ie not soup yet) and he ate FOUR bowls of it before deciding the beans were too crunchy.)

ROFLMAO-----Too Good.....Too Good.....

hahahaha, LOL.... that is hilarious about the beans and justice was served on the beer!!!!

People who steal ≠ friends in my book.

You're better off with this guy not thinking your beer is any good.
