Fresh shouts

Hops just popped up after only a few days in the ground!

I planted 4 rhizomes about 2 weeks ago, and only 1 has emerged, so far.

Three of mine came up within 5 days but I started them in the greenhouse. The ones in the ground took about 2 weeks.

I have to admit that I clicked on this just to find out what the hell a "fresh shout" was. Congratulations on the shoots!

I tried growing last year with about 6 different Rhizomes with no luck...couldn't get anything to grow.
This year I said F it, and bought a Cascade crown..I now have a ton of spouts and have top get busy getting my trellis rope up now.

I planted back in the end of April. 7 of 8 have sprouted and grown quite a bit. One got dug up by an animal, so I doubt its going to make it.
