Fresh hops that were frozen

I was given some hops some time ago and put them in my refrigerator's freezer when I got home. It's about two months later -- can I still use them, even though they have been frozen this long? Some ice crystals have formed and I'm hesitant to try.

Were they airtight? I'm guessing no since there are some ice crystals forming?

They were in ziploc bags, so about as airtight as you can get short of vacuum sealing.
