I don't see one on the circuit board. Looks like BZ1 is the spot for a buzzer. Looks like a couple of wires may be soldered to the lead holes from the under side of the circuit board. If you can trace the wires, maybe you will find the alarm.
 
Agreed, it looks like they put the buzzer on the back side of the PCB so it would fire out of the metal case (there's likely some grilling or punch outs on the case where the buzzer is located).

looks like you were both right! it was on the backside of the board. I took out all the screws and got to the back. I ripped that f*^ker off there! works great now.
