This is done in the brewery.

The Glacial Lake Brewers will hold its annual group brew day on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Block North Brew Pub. This event is FREE to anyone interested in free wort to take home to brew their own beer. The club will make a giant batch of base wort and folks take a share of it home to brew their own beer.
Are you new to brewing? Additional ingredients and equipment will be made available to help you have a successful brew day. We will set you up for success.
This year's wort will be a perfect base for a pale ale, kolsch, or IPA. Ingredients include Maris Otter Finest 2-Row Pale ale, honey malt, rolled oats, and carafoam. The result should be a higher alcohol, straw colored, full bodied base that will have excellent head retention.
Want to get some FREE wort? Just send me an email with your name and how many gallons of base wort you will want so we can plan accordingly. If you can, bring buckets or containers with lids to bring your wort home. Some buckets are available here.
Wort will be mashed at 8:00 AM and should be ready for retrieval at 10:30 AM.
You don't want to miss this fun and free event! Tell your friends.
Cheers,

Location, location, location.

A web search

suggests the location of an active home brew club (outside the Twin Cities MN). If my web searching is 'correct' (no LLMs were involved so it's plausible) it's an area where "Bortle 3 night skies" (astronomy) are a short drive from the city.

NW of the Twin Cities MN, there appears to be an active home brewing community along I-94/US-10 from around Rogers to around St Cloud. And there are a number of good local craft breweries. Lupine (Big Lake) and Bad Habit Brewing (St Joseph) are my "go to"s when I'm in that area (not often enough :(} and have time for a pint or time to buy a 4/6 pack.

@Saunassa : for the next event, is there a way that your club can connect with a broader community (up to 60 miles (or 1 hour drive) from your location)?

What a great way to draw up new interest in the craft. Home brewing is definitely in a slump. It's a sad you didn't get more signups.

You're in Aitkin, MN, 2 hours north of the Twin Cities, and 1.5 hours from Duluth. As @BrewnWKopperKat mentioned, next time it might be good to promote it to a wider geographical area. Post it in the North Central Homebrew Forum, as MN HBTers look in that category.

Another angle: Shoot a message to other clubs in the Twin Cities and Duluth and invite their people to stop up. It would be a great collab with other clubs. I didn't see the thread until it was too late, otherwise, I would've run up there.

The president of the club is also the head brewer and owner of Block North Brew Pub. We select the recipe and then mash in, have coffee and rolls and chat while we wait. Sometimes even sample new brews before they go on tap. Then assist with mash out and transfer to buckets.
Trying to get more people to brew and we have supplied yeast and hops to help them have success.
Members then bring and serve at our Harvest Moon Brew fest in September.

Last year I brought home 24 gallons and made 3 six gallon batches. Not this year as I didnt finish until 1am.
too much work.

Be sure to post info on your Harvest Moon Brew Fest in the North Central Homebrew Forum.

BTW, I've been to Block North, though it's been a few years. I recall the beers and food to be quite good. Aitkin's a cool town, lots of neat shops uptown.

"Went north on our honeymoon. Got to Aitkin before I got to Remer."
