Forgot to burp keg

When I forget to burp my little girl, well we all know what happens then.

A week ago I kegged my amber IPA, about which I’m very excited... my first own recipe! I hooked it up to the keg and put it at 10 psi to sit for the week. I JUST realized, while getting read for a taste, that I forgot to burp the oxygen out when I pressurized it. There was probably about 4 gallons put into the keg, so some headspace. Is my beer screwed?

Are you not purging the keg before you fill it?

Not screwed, but that much headspace full of air can cause the beer to go stale/oxidized faster. It should be fine for a while, though, so drink it and enjoy!
