So I thought I would put into practice one of the many tips I've learned on here by adding 1/3 of my extract at the start of the boil and the other 2/3 with 10 minutes to go. I put the 1/3 in as planned. Fast forward to after I put my pot in the ice bath when low and behold I see the extract container still soaking in the warm water. Whoops. The pot had been in the ice bath about 5 minutes (not sure of the exact temp). So I quickly threw it back on the burner stirred in the extract and heated it back up to just less than a boil. Finally, I returned it to the ice bath and continued according to plan.

I know some people add their late addition extract at flame out, so I'm hoping it won't have any major negative impact. Anyone have thoughts on this? Ever done it before yourself? How'd your beer turn out?

I have done this, but yrs ago. I don't have notes as it was so long ago, but I agree I'm sure you're fine. Sounds like you did the right thing and should have been enough to pasturize.
