I would've much rather had it in Maine again, LA/Long Beach area sucks.

Happy some people agree, that group has gone full retard. I didnt think what I was saying was all that controversial, but apparently I am in the wrong for wanting breweries with established histories of barrel aging to have the spots. I mean seriously, is this list a joke? Look at Ratebeer and check out some of these places!

Middle Brow (no beers over 10 reviews, HAS THREE ******* BEERS!)
River Dog (2 beers over 10 reviews)
Hailstorm (1 beer over 10 reviews)
Rude Hippo (not even in database)
Mystery (8 beers over 10 reviews)
Southern Prohibition (3 beers over 10 reviews)
Like Minds (no beers over 10 reviews, HAS ONE ******* BEER!)
Buckledown (1 beer of 10 reviews)
Woodfour (2 beers over 10 reviews)
Champaign County (no beers over 10 reviews)
Mobcraft (2 beers with over 10 reviews, this is a ******* homebrew club)
Big Shoulders (1 beer over 10 reviews, HAS THREE ******* BEERS!)
Blacklist (1 beer over 10 reviews)
Stickmen (no beers over 10 reviews)

I realize people are supporting the work of friends or their own and Im completely fine with that, but dont feed me ******** about how the price increase is justified. There is plenty of **** I will drink there, and I am sure to go check out some new stuff because that's part of the fun, but this is poor form. This gives me a bad feeling that this is more geared towards getting friends of Crowley's exposure even if their beer sucks ass, which assuredly, most of it will.

Sounds more like a fistival than a festival to me

I can't wait to see how much beer is wasted from these new breweries that everyone is clambering over to try. After they wast tickets on two or three of them it'll be them sitting in front GI, Founders, Side Project, Perennial, etc. like always. I hate Chicago beer idiots so much.

i'll go directly to the sideproject table and stay there til they make me go away... then start blending the sisters

Heard Rev will be bringing the following:

Straight Jacket, Filibuster, Working Mom

Haven't yet got to try Filibuster or Working Mom so I'll probably be plopping down a ticket or two for those.

I've had beer from two on that list. I liked Middle Brows debut bottle so I wouldn't mind dropping a ticket to try their barrel stuff.
Stopped by Hail Storm once....very, very meh! And yet their bombers litter shelves all over the South burbs for $8-10.

agree that the debut was solid albeit i haven't had anything else of theirs.

Dude we all know you're going to be waiting an hour before you even get in

If they give me the program guide well in advance I will oblige (remember I'm IMBIBE and they're checking people in starting at 4:30). If they hand it to me on the way in then you fuckers will wait until Saturday morning for the full line-up and be happy with sporadic updates.

Wondering if it's old King Henry, or if they did a larger fill in 2012 that wasn't all put into the used BCS Rare barrels.

KH came out in 2011 so are you referring to a batch of KH that sat in Rare barrels an extra year? I'm assuming it's a test batch for the release that came out in 2013 to see if they could emulate the homerun that KH was, or at least get close to it.

I've destroyed my short term memory so I'll go with what you said.
