Oakworks members almost always get offered two bottles of each beer—often with an option to purchase a third bottle. It's not one bottle per household. It's trying to cut down on six bottles going to one household.
Ok, well that totally makes more sense. I was just going off what paysse said with the one bottle per couple/household. 3 bottles of any beer is more than enough. I personally have been limiting myself to 2 bottles of any given beer in a failed effort to size down my cellar.

Yeah, I see now Adam's quote was specifically for public releases, which are 3-bottle sets he's trying to spread around as widely and fairly as possible. Those, I suppose, are one set per household, since the majority of bottles have already gone out to Oakworks members.

Assuming it's 3 different bottles? If so, that makes absolutely no sense. Is this "stipulation" limited to just couples households or do roommates have to fight over who gets the bottles?

The public sales are 3 different bottles. Basically one per billing address from what some of the past emails have said.

And basically no proxies for public sales so unless you're driving or flying up to Seattle with a week's notice this doesn't really concern you.

I missed out on the public sale last time out because I was in a meeting for three hours, so even with all the above conditions and 'stipulations', demand is still exceeding supply by a fair amount.

I will, however, go and line up outside Bottleworks on Sunday.

So roommates have to fight out who gets the bottle if they're both into beer?

Why is it that everyone from the PNW is such a pretentious *******? People talk about FL and IL people being ******, but in my experience PNW people think all their **** doesn't stink and all their beers should be for locals only.

Yet we send them out for free to everyone.

Maybe the issue lies within.

Let me reply for you to save you the keystrokes.

I just don't understand why this is such an issue. Why is two bottles hording. This isn't an issue for me I'm just bringing up that this is ********.

I have no idea why this brewery, or evanw considers two bottles of the same beer as hoarding. I personally like to buy two bottles of most beers to drink one fresh and see how the second ages. Apparently this isn't something this brewery recognizes, which is strange. My comment as to PNW people being ****** was a response to paysse's little meme. I am just trying to understand the release process and asking questions about it. Apparently that makes me a shitlord that is trying to sell Floodland beers for profit.

If you do really send these beers out for free to everyone, I would like to get one to see if all these hoops are worth it to jump through to secure a bottle.

SO asking questions is a bad thing now? Can you explain the logic behind that? What exactly have I done bad here? Or do you guys just hate me just to hate me? Assuming its the latter.
no hate, just a clear answer was given. Yet you push and push until it either changes or you get banned. Just dont get why you persist so much

A clear answer wasn't given, but all good. I honestly hope I am banned from this brewery, I have no desire to support such an egotistical maniac.

Adam is about as far as one can get from egotistical, but whatever makes you feel better. His thing is spreading the beer around and making sure as many people have a shot at it as opposed to one person or a group of people finding ways to monopolize it.

Yeah, that's not the public perception he gives off. I get that he's your buddy and gives you all special treatment and feelings but the general public thinks he's an egotistical prick.
