Stupid question, but does it need to be crushed? I have a pound of it, but the lhbs person didn't mix it in with the rest of my grain. Do I just add it with the rest of the grain during dough in? Thanks for the help.

I don't think it needs to be crushed. I've done both (put through mill with grains and just dumped in the mash tun straight from the LHBS), with no difference in the end result.

Flaked grains don't need to be crushed, since they're already flaked and ready to go. It won't harm them if they do go through the crusher, though.
