Fizzics

Has anyone come across a Fizzics? Is it possible to use this as a quick cheap option to carbonate a uncarbed Growler? I've seen one for $117.

I got one from my son and his wife for Christmas. It doesn't carbonate. It does, however, help maintain carbonation, and produce a nice, thick, creamy head. It enhances the mouthfeel, and changes the taste.
I'm starting an experiment. I'm using growlers and the Fizzics system to try and imitate a draft system.
