First Year Brewing

I got started brewing last Christmas...a gift from my wife. I brewed 23 beers and made 4 wines in my first year.

At first it was kits, then I started tweaking and finally I'm creating my own recipes.

My best effort is a 10% Belgian Strong Ale in corked Belgian bottles. I gave some away as Christmas gifts this year and people loved it.

This year I got barley crusher for Christmas and tried my luck at a Pilsner Urquell clone. It's fermenting beautifully. I can't wait to try this one.

I am also brewing in the first year boat... i started brewing last january with christmas money and have brewed 3 extract batches before switching to all grain and most recently bumping up to 10g electric system... its a wonderfull obcession lol
