First timer in Dallas

Opted for Brewers Best ESB for my first run. Loving this day! Does it matter if I leave the lid on our off the pot? Outside using a stainless turkey fryer. Thanks guys...glad to join!

Welcome to the group- lid on when heating to a boil, once you boild lid off to get rid of potential DMS.

Turkey fryer is a great move, beats a stove any day.

Thanks for the info. Got first batch fermenting now. Smells good, so hopefully all is well
