Well I just tasted my first home brew (an all-grain pale ale, mirror pond clone)
It's been in the bottle 2 weeks so I know it's still green but was wondering if anyone could tell me which of the following characteristics will improve with age.
First, it wasn't bad but it was bland, not much hop flavor/aroma etc.
Also, somewhat a watery mouthfeel despite nailing my OG and FG. Appearance very murky. Nice head but big bubbles, kind of looked like a Hefe in the glass.
So I'm glad it didn't taste bad but kind of bummed the flavor was so-so. Any thoughts? Much appreciated.
