First take on apfelwein

Followed the recipe, bottled for aging last night.

tasted a pint. I can't believe how drinkable this stuff is, it's going to get people in trouble for sure. Very dry, white wine like. Hint of apple and i'm sure the apple will come through with aging.

My SWMBO says it's better than beer.

By the way, my mom really enjoyed the stuff and my wife who is not a big drinker will sometimes share a glass with me.
