Second batch ever, first stout.

Recipe from LHBS:
0.5 lb Chocolate Malt; Bairds Malt
0.62 lb Roast Barley; Bairds Malt
0.25 Oats flaked

12.46 lb LME Amber; Irek's

1.4 oz Magnum pellets boiled 60 min
0.5 oz Saaz pellet boiled 15 min
0.5 oz Saaz pellet boiled 1 min

Fermentis s-04 Safle S-04

I plan on doing a secondary fermentation, mainly to remove the air lock grommet I dropped, but also to kick it up a notch. Any suggestions on other things to add for the second? Also any suggestions on how long a stout like this will need to finish? When should I bottle? *realizes the LHBS left a few details out*
Thanks!

The consensus here it seems is 5-8 weeks in primary with no secondary...i find 8 weeks a little long and hard to wait. I check around 6 weeks and go from there.
