Hey all, this is my first attempt to create my own recipe. I'm going for a roasty amber/red ale with subtle hop notes.

Fermentables:
7.5 lb LME
8 oz Dark Crystal 135L
8 oz Crystal Rye Malt

I'm planning to use Northern Brewer for the bittering hops. I have some Crystal, Cascade, and Citra in the freezer I can use for flavor and aroma? Any suggestions? I'm thinking mostly Northern Brewer with a little Crystal for flavor.

Thanks for any feedback!
